APT 20 A Delphi Certified Course

As a follow on to the Bosch common rail course, this sets out the variations in design of vehicles equipped with the Delphi common rail systems. The course provides a system overview that includes the differences in low and high pressure fuel circuits, additional variations in injector design and their associated replacement procedures.

The course is divided into six main subjects:

• Safety procedures when working on high pressure fuel systems
• Theory of operation
• On-vehicle diagnostics using Delphi DS100E
• Remove and refit procedures for CR pump, injectors, fuel filter and high-pressure pipes
• Re-programming of Injectors
• Wiring checks using multi-meter and oscilloscope
• Setting and testing

Looking at other Delphi diesel product including

• Fuel filter assemblies
• Glow plug and controllers
• Injectors.

• Common Rail closed rail/injector back leakage kit.
