This is the full course for Technicians who have not received previous training or are relatively new to air conditioning. The training covers the new gas handling regulations as above, as well as a full day’s training on A/C systems, diagnosis, leak detection and correct use of equipment.
This course is for those Technicians who have sat previous training and have a good working knowledge of air conditioning systems, testing and diagnosis. The training will focus on the new gas handling regulations and will be followed by an online and practical assessment.
This single unit VRQ, which is approved by DEFRA, is suitable for competent MAC technicians who have completed a previous qualification, which can include ‘in-house’ training. MAC technicians must already have a good understanding of components and the system operation to carry out servicing procedures relating to air conditioning systems.
